In 2016, Ionic Systems embarked upon designing & manufacturing an anti-rotational waterfed pole.
We have spent years researching and developing a waterfed pole clamping system that can withstand & reduce wear of the tubes over time and still not rotate/spin, even when worn. This is a problem universal to all modern window cleaners using the waterfed pole method. However, we endeavoured to create a waterfed pole designed not to spin and built to last.
In 2018, we had a patent granted for an anti-rotational pole. This early design was a ‘teardrop’ shape, as seen in the image below. However, we decided not to bring this pole to the market as it compromised the overall rigidity of the pole and the tubes were still able to rotate a small amount. Therefore, this was not a true anti-rotational pole and did not meet our standards. Not all innovation makes it to the production line. Quality without Compromise.

We have combined existing successes from the Hydra™️ waterfed pole range to create a watered pole capable of lasting significantly longer than any other waterfed pole available.
